Accessibility
Verdaji should work for more people.
We are building the Verdaji experience to be clear, usable and accessible across different devices and ways of navigating.
Our design commitments
These are the commitments that guide the way the Verdaji experience is built, in every new screen and every review:
- keyboard navigation;
- visible focus;
- semantic heading hierarchy;
- adequate contrast;
- appropriate touch target sizes;
- screen reader support through labels and semantic structure;
- alternative text for relevant images;
- support for prefers-reduced-motion, reducing animation for people who prefer less movement;
- responsive layout on small and large screens;
- plain language;
- essential content that does not rely solely on images.
An ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a completed step. We assess and improve the experience as it evolves and as we receive feedback from the people who use it.
Found an accessibility barrier? We want to know.
If something prevented or made it difficult for you to use Verdaji, write to us. Every report helps fix the problem for many other people.
